Category Pendant LampJohn Calvin Portman was an American architect known for popularizing hotels. He is responsible for the redevelopment of several city blocks in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, United States, and is credited with coining the term “urban redevelopment”. Portman’s signature style features the use of large, open atriums and multi-story public spaces.
The beautiful visual effect of the atrium at the Atlanta Marriot Marquis was the inspiration for Porus Studio’s design team to create the contemporary Portman Pendant Lamp. So, to honor Portman’s talent, Porus Studio decided to give this masterpiece the family name of the neo-rationalist architect, in particular the Portman Pendant Lamp.
Combining an aged brushed brass shade and polished brass movable rings with aged brushed brass accents, this contemporary Portman Pendant Lamp will fit perfectly into your bedroom décor.
