Named after James Madison, the fourth President of the United States, the Madison Square served as the epicenter of the American advertising industry since the 20s. Madison Square is located in the Flatiron District of New York City.  The square is bounded by Fifth Avenue to the east, Broadway to the north, 23rd Street to the south, and Madison Avenue to the west.
