Skyscraper
Category Suspension LampThe first skyscraper‘ was built in Chicago in 1884 and was called the Home Insurance Building. The building was only 10 stories tall, but it was a revolutionary design that used steel-frame construction, which made it much taller and more stable than any other building at the time. This new construction method quickly caught on, and by the early 1900s, there were dozens of skyscrapers being built in major cities across the United States.
The Skyscraper contemporary suspension lamp is supported by three geometric structures in polished brass while the body is formed with the combination of the beautiful Spaniard Negro marquina marble with polished brass. This structure is the key point of the Skyscraper suspension lamp, embellishing the round shade.
